In order to put together a health proposal, we will need to gather a little bit of information regarding your company and your employees.  This information is very important when deciding which insurance carrier and health plan would be the best fit for you.

trans Group Health InsuranceOne thing our clients love about us is that we do not work for any particular carrier.. we work for you. Which means, since we are licensed with all of the major carriers like Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield and the rest, whichever company has the best coverage for you, we can get it. We are not owned or tied to any one carrier, which works out the best for you, the business owner.

For existing groups, the process for obtaining new insurance for your company is fairly simple.

  1. Review Current Group Health Coverage: we review the current coverage you have in place and how strong your plan is with the plans offerings from competing major carriers.
  2. Small Business Proposal: Upon review of the employee census information, we put together a proposal for you showing the top 4-5 PPO and HMO plan options from each carrier. We also offer quotes for group disability, life, dental and more if requested.
  3. Plan Selection: Our agents review the benefit and network differences between each plan with you and your employees.
  4. Underwriting: Once you have decided on the best plan option for your company, we gather all of the necessary documents (applications, company information, etc.) and submit your completed package to underwriting. This process can take as little as a day or two, and up to several weeks.
  5. Plan Implementation: After your approval is obtained, your new insurance will generally go into effect the 1st of the following month. We are always available to come out to your office for an enrollment meeting to educate your employees on the plan benefits that are now available to them.
  6. Annual Plan Review - Upon renewal, we provide you with a complete analysis of your current coverage versus the competitors to ensure that your plan is still the best for your company.

During this entire process, our agents are available via phone as well as to come out to your office to answer any questions. Upon approval, we like to introduce the new plan(s) to your employees with an enrollment meeting detailing the differences in coverage and the various tools available.

Group health insurance is one of the top factors involved in employee retention. Aside from the various tax benefits involved in offering coverage, another excellent advantage of group health insurance is that the coverage is guaranteed for your employees regardless of pre-existing conditions as long as your company meets the necessary parameters mandated by the carrier.

The process for obtaining group health insurance for a new group is as follows:

  1. Needs Assessment - We analyze your current company’s budget, needs, and position to determine if coverage is necessary and which options may be the best bet.
  2. Obtain Census Information - Basic information for each employee needs to be submitted in order to provide an accurate quote.
  3. Proposal - We run a proposal for you showing all of the top plan premiums and details for your review. We can go over this with you over the phone or at your office.
  4. Plan Selection - We assist you in selecting the best plan (or plans) for your company.
  5. Underwriting - Once you have decided on the best plan option for your company, we gather all of the necessary documents (applications, company information, etc.) and submit your completed package to underwriting. This process can take as little as a day or two, and up to several weeks.
